This was a very last-minute surprise for a friend of our family who dearly loves Michael Buble. :) Her daughter (who's also my friend) challenged me with the idea of painting his picture on the cake somehow...:) So, I took a piece of white fondant, rolled it out, cut it in a circle, and painted it with a fine brush and food coloring. It was definitely a challenge! I did enjoy it though, and think it didn't turn out too shabby...your thoughts?
I piped some of the lyrics to his song "Everything" around the sides, and added some red icing hearts. :)
Listening to his music was excellent inspiration as I worked on this project, I might add...<3 ;)

Toy Story
The top pic shows the true colors better, but the pic below gives you an idea of the size and shows the chocolate cow patches I put on the sides. Bullseye, Woody, and Jessie were cut-out fondant pieces which I painted on to give a slight 3-D effect - kind of like a flannel graph. :) Takes me back to Sunday school, years and years ago...;)

Victory Run for the Son :)
The story of a cake...the evolution of a motorcycle
I made this cake for a benefit concert our church hosted for CMA - the Christian Motorcyclists Association. My model was a beautiful Victory bike owned by friends of ours who are members of a local CMA group.
This cake was a challenge, but I LOVED building it - start to finish.
I really enjoy the process - I hope you enjoy watching! :)
